Situated in a valley, with 5 miles of river frontage on the Gunnison
River and towering cliffs, this site is absolutely breathtaking.
With 7 acres of trout ponds, 8 acres of bass ponds, a sporting clay
course, and 1,000 acres for wing shooting, the Farm is the perfect
setting for a sporting and family resort.
Gunnison River Farms is also a great destination for small corporate
retreats. Depending on the make-up of the group, we can accommodate
up to 18 people.
Guests stay in luxurious cabins
and enjoy countless activities such as fly
fishing, whitewater rafting, wing
shooting, sporting clays, yoga and fitness
retreats, hiking, biking, trail running and just plain "kicking
back". Children love the Farm thanks to rope swings, puppies, kid-friendly
trout ponds and more. The Farm has become a favorite for family
gatherings of all kinds.
A featured experience offered by the Black Canyon
Anglers Guide service is a rafting and fly fishing trip through
the Gunnison Gorge. This wilderness canyon is located just downstream
of the Black Canyon National Park. Black Canyon Anglers provides
the most experienced guides and the highest quality of service available
in the Gorge. These 1-3 day float trips begin and end at Gunnison
River Farms; drifting directly to your cabin at the conclusion of
your float.
The Farm also offers spa services, yoga retreats
and fitness training for those who desire a rejuvenating vacation.
The proximity of the charming towns of Cedaredge (home of the Grand
Mesa), Hotchkiss and Paonia, assures the art and antique lover plenty
to see and do.
